are you using automatic mode? cause if so, the pics shouldn't be coming out blurry! the only time i ever get blurry pics is from using manual mode and that requires a lot of steadiness and focus.
how long does it take to power up? mine takes 2 seconds around, but i read that in the upgraded version.. the process is faster :|
but if you're unhappy, can you return and exchange for the sony then? a camera is no good if the user doesn't like it!

eep I read that it's not really healthy to agitate them like that (mirros, etc) because it gets them all worked up and they can injure themselves in the process. my brother kept doing that to my fish for awhile >:O

One tip from me... I seldom use flash. I think it ruins the true color and often leaves that unsightly flash spot. Do you use automatic mode or manual?
