Here’s my August 1 daily grind. It’s like a fish log. Check out Lele, Phona and Emilza.
I was playing with my mom’s Nokia 6600 and was amazed at how many themes (not just wallpaper) she had installed…
A few of the themes I liked were:
Nemo… MY FAVORITE!!

Shrek and Resident Evil theme

It was my first time in Quiapo last Sunday and I took this opportunity to take pictures of characters and sights I might never see in other parts of the city. .

Inside the tricyle….
Mom finally got an infrared adapter so I could transfer my cellphone pics to the desktop…
Aww Kylee…the angle makes him look weird

Angelica, her brother and me

Lady is such a camwhore… the cat version of a camwhore. I found her sitting in an empty box that dad cleaned out. And while I was taking pictures, she just stood there as if I wasn’t there. Cute.
She practically grew up camwhoring with me.

Dad thinks my hairstyle looks like….
Fighting fish is a native sport of Thailand. Coming face to face, the opponents are transformed into wonderfully beautiful creatures, their colour deepening their gills quivering and widening, their fins and tails spreading out and assuming a warm glow. Every part of the body becomes vibrant. They lose no time in getting at each other, biting fiercely and cruelly. With mouths locked for minutes or sometimes even hours, they fit up and down the water in the bottle manoeuvring for positions. Parts of gills, fins, tailsmortal combat, the enthusiasts would bet basing their culculations on the amount and severity of the injury inflicted and received by both sides.
This is how the fish looks in its non-fighting form.

A more humane way of seeing the Crown Tail Thai fighting fish in its fighting form is using a mirror.

Hehe, the moment the fish sees its reflection, Its gills and tail expanded. They’re so pretty . Ack The color of the tail is supposed to be mauve and the body is pinkish but the stupid lampshade changes the hue.
Happy Father’s Day!! I bought my dad a Crown Tail , a type of Thai fighting fish. They are so pretty. I had a hard time choosing between blue, rainbow. No two fish are alike. I finally chose a pinkish/mauve fish.
Dad loved our gift. He if there was a meaning to it. Haha. Nah, I just liked the pretty colors. He placed a mirror beside the fish bowl so the fish could see its own reflection. Pretty soon, its gills quivered and widenned.
Thai fighting fish belong to the tough and pugnacious species of fish in the world.
Here are my fishes…. (photos taken by my sister)
Meet Confucious. The logic behind Confucious’ name is stupid. I picked it because it keeps ramming itself against the glass, like it wants to get out of the tank and can’t remember why it’s trapped inside in the first place. I couldn’t think of any other name that meant “confused". So Confucious it was.
Meet Kitty, a catfish. He likes staying at the bottom.
Meet Tutankhamen. He just lies amongst the plants or bubbles and doesn’t do much, like the child king of Egypt who is already dead.
Meet Shere Khan. The fish with angst. It keeps attacking the filter and all the other fish.
