On reinventing myself

Just because I made a mistake doesnt mean I have to keep on making the same mistakes.

I can do it.

guy rant

*start of rant*

I woke up at 6:30 am so I could get my student’s permit with the rest of the A-1 driving students. But when I arrived there, they just left 5 minutes earlier. What pisses me off is that the school gave the wrong directions. And to think I was around the SM North Edsa mall since 7:30 am. STUPID GUY!!

And on my way out this morning:

[07:10] Me: hi
[07:10] *** “Jason” signed off at Wed Mar 31 07:10:47 2004.

That could mean:

1. He accidentally hit the “hot key” (whatever that is)
2. He blocked me.
3. His laptop dies whenever I IM him.

Uh, yeah …It looks like Jason doesn’t intend to ever talk to me again in this lifetime. I think he should give me the courtesy of saying that he doesn’t want to have anything to do with me instead of hiding behind the monitor. But then again, I probably don’t deserve such courtesy. The last time we talked, he said we could still be friends. Whatever. He should be honest and tell the truth to my face.

Guys! Good thing I’m single so I don’t have to deal with their shit.

*end of rant*

Fell in love with a boy

Ahhhh, I love this song….“Fell in love with a boy” by teenage soul singer, Joss Stone. When I first heard it on the radio yesterday, I recognized it as a reinterpretation of the White Stripes Fell In Love With A Girl. Wow, I can’t believe she’s only 16. Here’s a clip.

But I put an end to it.

two sides of the story

There are always two sides of the story. It depends on which side you are and if you’re willing to listen to both sides. If you enjoy hearing juicy gossip, then go for it. Who can resist that? Argh, I’ll talk more about this in a private entry when I get into the mood of writing.

Debut planning

I’ve been getting some emails asking me for debut ideas. Well, I thought of my own theme but I went to 2 bridal fairs to look for some suppliers. I even pretended to be a bride. Hehe, I was able to get the musicians and photographer from those bridal fairs. Most of the debut suppliers came through word of mouth from my mom’s friends and relatives. I’ll let you know more about my plans later on. I won’t have an escort (why should I?) , those 18 roses and cotillon.

For those who don’t have time to attend bridal or debut fairs, these sites might give you some ideas: thebanquet.net and weddinglibrary.com.ph. Then, there’s this Weddings and Debuts 2004 on April 17 and 18.

For a venue, the Fernwood gardens is so beautiful but it’s just too pricey . I love the rainforest garden and the tropical birds. *sigh*

Anyway, today I’m dropping off invitations to friends. Jason never got to mail the inserts for my invitation . Inspite of reminding him a million times, he just didn’t find the time to mail it . I guess I deserved it after all the crap I gave him. I still want them though.

Summer vacation

It’s weird how I’m not a freshman anymore but not quite a sophomore yet. Until summer classes start on April 15 or so, I won’t be thinking of any academic shit; I shall be living the life of a bum. Let’s try to make it a productive one.

Things to do during the next two weeks:

1. Work on the screenplay
2. Buy DVDs (I’m not quite sure which ones though…any recommendations?)
3. Divisoria shopping with Tina and Kayelle for my debut stuff
4. Learn how to edit videos
5. Hopefully go visit the ukay-ukay at Baguio
6. Rick Warren’s Purpose-Driven Life study group with friends. (Yes I want to have a purpose-driven life.)

papers due

Even though finals are done, I have to submit my English research papers today. Ugh, I ran out of coupon bond paper so I have to go to school and have it printed there. I’m just waiting for Tina to come over now. Ever since I moved back home, Tina’s been hitching a ride to school every morning. But yeah, school is finally over till summer classes which opens April 14. I hate how summer classes start too soon. I would have been on the plane right now on my way to the states. This had been planned over a year ago as my 18th birthday gift. It’s also the reason why my debut party is a month from now. But oh well, studies come first, right?

Last Day of Finals

Wheeee! Today is my last day of finals! I hope I can pull up my tentative grade of D in Physics. Bah! I’m off to the school cafeteria to review with friends. For some reason, I can study so much better there than the library. It’s strange but in the cafeteria, the din of the noise unites into one harmonious hum that lulls me to studying. Hehe.
