Wow, I just love the Ulead Video Studio 7 and their Video Tutorial. The interface looks more user friendly than Adobe Premiere.

Two days ago, someone gave me this Google Search Engine Optimization 101 . (Here is a summary) After reading the tips, I thought I’d test if they would work. Today, I typed in reliable webhosting…and the the-protagonist.net site is no. 2 (at the moment) among 158,000 results. In just 2 days. JOY! oops..But my joy turned to horror when I realized that it isn’t the Protagonist webhosting that is linked in that slot. But the main the-protagonist.net index page featuring Lisa Frank. Ack, so much for being reliable. Although the link to the webhosting is in that page, I don’t think an image of Lisa Frank depicts “reliable". A redesign should be in my next plan. I mean , a lot of webhosting sites would just die to be in the first page of that search query.
Aside from that, I am amazed that I got the no. 2 slot in just 2 days. This is how I did it:

“StrangeBanana is a program that creates a random webpage design. The page design you are looking at has never been seen before - it was created programmatically just now. If you want, you can use this design for your own website (in that case you should save it immediately, because when you leave the page, you will never be able to get the same design again).”
Well it’s an interesting concept but the design’s aren’t that great. The fascinating thing about the program is that, every once in a while it creates a really great design. So when you get an ugly design, just hit Reload - the great design might be just a click away.
Thanks to Dodo for the the threaded comments hack for b2. I had some problems but thanks to Phona for helping me out and Lele for the inspiration. So I’ve added the threaded hack at fated and nimrodel.net. And the good news is that in the latter, it still validates .

Your guess is as good as mine!
A lot have been asking on a simple way to create new skins for Invision version 1.1 beta 2. So I wrote a few tutorials.
A reporter wanted to do an email interview of my weblog because it was “appealing". Naturally I got confused so I asked her “is it the group blog , BLOGGED or my online journal, nimrodel.net?” When she replied that it was nimrodel.net, I wrote her back and said that it is more of a journal than a weblog. If you want to see the difference, read this journal vs. weblog. The online journals became the trend before the weblog so there seems to be a bit of confusion there. However, some don’t make a distinction and combine a journal and a weblog . Sometimes I blog snippets of my life in BLOGGED without much fanfare . But clearly, “A person who keeps a diary or journal online is logging their life, not the web, no matter how they get their words out.”
Have you noticed that online journals are a dying breed? How many journals do you read now? Blogs are just easier to read , especially if you have 30 daily blog links.
Just when I was getting used to XHTML 1.0, the first working draft of XHTML 2.0 drops backward compatibility . Here is a sneak peek at the changes.
Michel just made this http://cafelog.com/powerb2.php . Check the left menu for a sample (under most updated b2 blog). Anyway, it is a list of weblogs that’s updated, from the most updated to the least updated. Everytime a blog updates, its update count is incremented and counts will be reset every week. Michel will first have to see if it’s worth it to reset it every 24 hours. Now let’s see who are the power bloggers.
