amelie

I watched Amelie, a French movie, this afternoon while I was at the mall to buy some toiletries for my retreat. My mom wanted to see Minority Report but I wasn’t really feeling up to it, and sci fi isn’t really my thing, even though Tom Cruise is there. Besides, I’ve read a short synopsis of Amelie and I thought it might be a good movie because she reminded me a bit of myself, though I’m really not one to go so far to fix up other people’s lives.[read more?]

Dodo has a new layout for regretless.com. It’s called “Gone to China". This version rocks mainly because I prefer tables to frames. And Dodo… have a great and enjoyable trip to China. Hopefully, I’ll get your couple photo soon. Ah, how I love travelling. See you soon, Dodo.

Dodo is leaving wednesday for China so I just had to let her know. I’ll be in a retreat for 3 days , starting tomorrow and will be back Wednesday afternoon. I forgot that Lele left for Toronto yesterday . I was too busy preparing for the party last night before she left. Hmm, that means there will be no admins around at the Protagonist boards . Pei is at school and doesn’t have 24/7 net access.

Well, maybe there’s nothing to administer cos the boards are having server problems, hence the slow connection or none at all.

I’m a bohemian

You know how people travel to different countries, and then after a couple of days or weeks they start missing the sights and sounds of home? For some reason, the exact opposite for me. When I’m at home and doing nothing in particular, or when I hear a certain song or smell a certain smell, I suddenly become travelsick. [read more?]

Tonight I’ll be attending the dia de la amistad celebration at the Instituto Cervantes. Yes. Eating and dancing, hopefully. Speaking of my Spanish classes, I just learned today that every level I earn is worth 3 college units . That means I’ve taken 12 units already. I wish I knew that earlier cos the grades from my first 3 level was 5 (which is passing) and my fourth level was 7 (average). Oh well, in any case , it’s still an advantage when I get to college next year.

jenny jones

Ever since school is out and I’m getting a lot of night hours @ Shop Wrong, I’ve been watching Jenny Jones a lot. It’s funny because all of her episodes are about DNA results or lie detector tests. Today was a celeb look alike and yesterday was lie detector tests to see if some huge chest women and big butt girls actually had inplants in them or not Some of them were sooo huge it’s oviouse!

Then Annia illustrated a new logo. She got inspired by a scribble she did on paper. Wow, I wish I could do something like that.

I am a sore loser

I think that one of the worst traits that I have is that I am a sore loser. I hate competing and I hate it even more when I lose. I get mad when I lose at ping-pong, at Tekken, or at Election of Club Officers.[read more?]

back… sort of.

I seem to be slowly losing my interest in blogging… I stopped blogging at my own weblog for about a month and did not seem to notice it.

anyway, i’m trying to post more at the protagonist forums (i stopped going there since i entered college). so sorry about the inactivity.

anyway, lauryn, i just want to know if there’s any other way I can upload stuffs into my website other than FTP. I can’t figure out how to configure the FTP configurations for the network in my college so I’m unable to update any of my webcam pictures etc. Help?

Let’s see what’s brewing:

Daynah.net had a major facelift . According to Daynah, it’s been 2 years since she last re-designed her domain. Loved how she combined blue and maroon together in those swirly vectors.

Erin’s site reminds me of my first color scheme 6 years ago. Black background with yellow text although Erin doesn’t use animated gifs. It surely brings back memories.

Katherine’s blog in black and white surely brings the content across. Perkation at its best.

Nadine’s kitty cat theme is just adorable. Rumor has it that she owns 7 cats. Wow. Maybe one day I should feature my 2 cats.

And Drollery and pixelstars are down again and so with the-protagonist.com. Strangely, the boards which are hosted in dot com are working for me.
