haunted house

I swear our house is haunted. At around 2:00 AM , I thought I heard a snoring sound. She heard it too and said the sound was right outside her window. We ran to our parent’s bedroom. Yeah like a coward but see,it was 2:00 AM . Dad took a baseball bat and investigated. NO ghost around. Okay now these are just some of our sightings for the past year:

1. a few days ago, mom complained that we were banging our closet doors constantly like we were mad at her. (it couldn’t be us cos we were at the den , and the helpers were attending mass)
2. sighing sound outside computer room at 1:00 am. (mom and marielle heard it too)
3. Kylee meowing at an unseen figure in the den and running around like crazy . (my sister, mom and our helper witnessed it)
4. some sort of unknown perfumy odor in the computer room (dad, mom and myself smelled it)

Ack! And one time, one of my dad’s friend, a spirit questor saw a woman hovering in our dining room.

Eerie! Next sound we’ll be hearing will be strange “moaning". AHHHHH!!! Time to call the ghost busters.

movies

At this time of the year, only Filipino movies are shown in all the theaters . They are usually entries to the Metro Film Festival. I plan to watch 2 today :Mano Po which depicts three generations of a Chinese immigrant family and how they adopted themselves to their host country (It won the “Best Picture Award.” ) and dekada 70 which details how a middle class family struggled with and faced the new changes that empowered Filipinos to rise against the government.

stephen speaks

Sasha mentioned in this thread that Stephen Speaks is an indie band. I didn’t know that. It’s interesting to note that they became quite popular in the Philippines right after it was aired over the radio (someone who got their CD sent it over to the radio station). They’re scheduled to have a concert sometime early February 2003. “Passenger Seat” is my favorite… Download it here. Colleges

Congrats for making it into De La Sale University! Speaking of colleges, I’m probally the sadest case ever.

I’m still deciding if I want to go to CCM or Katherine Gibbs School Of Technology. I don’t even know what I want to major in! I was thinking along the lines of Computer Science, but thanks to the Current Issues in Science cource I’m taking now, I’m also want to look more into crimeology for Forensic Science. Both are very good schools and everyone is accepted (so even rejects can go to those schools with my low 840 SAT scores ) *sigh* I don’t even know what I want to do anymore…

Oh by the way, if I’m missing in action, it’s because we’re getting this computer (piece of shit really) fixed so my Digital Camera could work.

geeky project

My computer science teacher just has to ruin my beauty sleep. So why am I awake at this time? Our group project is to create a software for a medical supplies company using Visual Basic.We’re all meeting at Starbucks and then rush off to interview the medical supplies people. Oh well, we gotta do good in this project cos Computer Science is a 2 unit course . Fun huh?
