In those days…
This new layout features Jan Saudek’s photo taken in the early 1980s . Those were the dark ages when Adobe Photoshop was unheard off. I actually scanned this from one of mom’s photography books. I forgot what this technique is called but I think he overlapped two pictures. Lately, I’ve been reading up on photography. I prefer taking candid photos but it’s not that easy to capture the moment. Fingers have to snap that button quickly.

Bonding with nature
An expedition somewhere in Obando, Bulacan. On the way to my cousin’s fishing pond, where electricity and running water do not exist.

Trying to fish…too bad the Grouper were already full at this time of the day.
Packet loss
Going online isn’t fun if you have constant packet loss. And that’s what’s been going on for the past week. So far, internet connection is now back to normal.

European film
Ever since I enrolled in a European Film class at the start of the semester, I have lost my taste in Hollywood films. I’ve seen Amelie, City of God, and Y Tu Mama Tambien before I took this class, but the other films I’ve seen have definitely increased my appreciation for European film. I thought I’d post some of the things I’ve learned. more?
