Traffic Power can get you banned

Two weeks ago, my aunt who is based in the states told me that a certain Caleb, of Traffic Power (they aren’t listed in Google). The thing was this guy called through my aunt’s cellphone so my aunt thought he was one of the many guys I met online. Ha, I don’t even know my aunt’s cellphone number. Anyway, this guy starts giving this sale pitch that my webhosting really needs to be no. 1 in the search results. He even invited me to tour their facilities in Las Vegas. What shit!! $4000 for one year of service with a guarantee of EIGHT (8) Top 10 listings.

Doing a google search shows:

1 . Traffic Power customers being banned from Google because of Traffic Power’s practices - Tons of unsuspecting site owners who had put their faith and trust in one particular Search Engine Optimization (SEO) company had woken up one morning to find that their sites had completely vanished from Google, and in some cases, Yahoo. Imagine paying thousand of dollars only to get completely banned from Google.

2. 18 complaints filed at the Better Business Bureau with a lot of warnings about dealing with them.

It made me wonder…why was he contacting my aunt in the first place? So I googled:

As of July 17 , my protagonist webhosting came out

- No. 25 out of 31,200,000 for webhosting keyword.

- No. 2 out of 6,080,000 for webhosting plans.

- No. 3 out of 2,480,000 for reliable webhosting.

I know results change everyday but then I didn’t pay thousand of dollars to achieve that. Not to brag but I don’t need to spend $4000 for some SEO firm when I can achieve it on my own. My sites rank high because I update often and have been doing so for the past 8 years . Without quality content, you won’t get links, but you can get good ranking without links if you have good content

Scammers are always around. Just do a little site optimization, have patience and it can be done.
